Digital Effects Technical Workshop with Anthos Simon, General Manager Efilm. Anthos has led the introduction of digital services for Atlab and will share his wealth of knowledge from films such as Dark City, The Matrix, Hero, and Happy Feet. He will be covering:
- film stock
- lenses
- colour space
- aspect ratios
- D/Is
- scanning & recording
- on-set data collection
- camera sheets
and other crucial things to know to work to film standard in DVFx. Anthos is also one of my all-time favorite people, he is a goldmine of information and experience and I absolutely urge you to come and hear what he has to say! It will be one of those nights where things you’ve heard about suddenly all start to make sense.
