The 2011 Annual General Meeting Of The Sydney ACM SIGGRAPH Professional Chapter (A member chapter of ANZGRAPH Inc.) will be held will be held on August 17, before the Electronic Theatre 1 event. It will only take approximately 10 minutes to conclude this formal part of the evening before the fun Theatre part of the evening can occur.
If you are a current member, or are intending on becoming or renewing your membership of Sydney ACM SIGGRAPH, you are encouraged to attend this meeting. It is a good opportunity to meet with colleagues and Board members and to contribute, and be involved in the direction of the chapter for the next year.
Elections will be held for the 2011-2012 Executive Officeholders and Board Members, including Chair, Vice-Chair, Treasurer, Secretary, Web Chair, Membership Chair and Member/s At Large electronically in August. Electronic elections will commence from August 25 2011 and will end on August 31 2011. All nominations must have been registered by midnight August 23rd 2011.
You must be a current financial member of the association to nominate for office or to vote at the AGM. Members who wish to renew their membership should do so now. See here for details about renewing your membership.
